JENAH BARRY My work operates in response to sculptural tradition, often taking the form of a subtle intervention into a particular site. I reference romanticism and landscape, in a contemporary framework. The work often shifts between the poetic, the mundane and the absurd. Process is crucial to my practice. My particular area of theoretical research is focused on (post)modern and contemporary discourse, and on contemporary romantic theory.
