‘Temper’ is a site specific work using a fire bucket found in the Space 44 gallery and water collected from the river network that is distinct to the area. I made a minute hole in the bucket and filled it with the collected water, and salt. Sediment and rust eventually blocked the hole, and as the liquid dried, salt crystals grew on the paper and floor. The holes in the wall and on the paper under the bucket are a drawing made of tiny perforations, mapping the river network.
